The Supernatural star has a debut album coming.
Jensen Ackles dropped his first-ever album Friday. Ackles has been writing and performing together with musician Steve Carlson for the past fifteen years. His debut album is titled Vol. 1.
“As you listen through the album, you’ll notice it’s a pretty wide range of music styles,” Ackles told Entertainment Weekly.
“You get some soul, you get some heavy rock, you get some singer-songwriter, and you get some cool, laid-back stoner music,” he added. “It checked a lot of boxes for me. That was a better representation of us as songwriters and our music tastes because I like to listen to different stuff. And if I can listen to different stuff on the same album, then that would be great.”
A single from the album, “Sounds of Someday,” was featured in Thursday’s episode of Supernatural, an episode that Ackles directed himself.
