For better or for worse, the gang is back. Jersey Shore special titled Family Vacation was announced by MTV in late 2017 and now the network has provided us with further details about this eagerly anticipated reunion. The fun starts on April 5 on MTV, with the special being aired in more than 180 countries via an international network of MTV’s channels.
Most of the cast is set to make their appearance, so you’ll enjoy, once again, the adventures of Snooki, Deena Nicole Cortese, Paul “Pauly D” Delvecchio, Jenni “JWOWW” Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino. Yes, one name is missing. Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola decided she will not return to the show since she has decided to focus on her business and doesn’t want to be exposed to public eye anymore.
Besides the premiere date, MTV also revealed a short teaser, where you can see a bit of excitement that awaits us in April.

Debuting in 2009, Jersey Shore didn’t receive impressive ratings during the first couple of episodes, but then it took the world by storm. The show became so popular for MTV and immersed itself in the pop culture, that the network decided to do numerous international spinoffs including Geordie Shore (UK), Gandia Shore (Spain), Warsaw Shore (Poland), and Acapulco Shore (Mexico). Besides that, the stars of the original, Snooki, JWoww and Pauly D received their own shows.
