After production hit a few bumps, principal photography on the female-led spy thriller has officially begun.

The news was confirmed with a video shared on Instagram by Jessica Chastain. The behind-the-scenes clip featured Chastain and director Simon Kinberg meeting in Paris, as the two got in a car Chastain said, “As Simon and I were doing ‘X-Men,’ I had this idea of doing this female ensemble action film and called all the actresses and we are the studio. Everyone owns the film and now we’re making it.”

355 follows an international group of female spies played by Chastain, Lupita Nyong’o, Penelope Cruz, Diane Kruger, and Fan Bingbing.

Chastain told The Hollywood Reporter that all of the actresses own equity in the film. “I love the idea about creating this movie and seeing that these women aren’t just people for hire,” she told the outlet.

355 is slated to be released in sometime in 2020.
