The beloved late-night host is set to host TV’s biggest night for the third time.

The Emmy Awards ceremony will take place on September 20th, with a live broadcast on ABC. This will be Kimmel’s third time hosting—he previously hosted the ABC produced ceremony in 2012 and 2016.

Karey Burke, president of ABC Entertainment, described Kimmel as a “true master of ceremonies”, and said she’s sure he’ll deliver a uniquely entertaining, funny and moving show.

“Just as Jimmy has done with his own show over the past few months, he will tackle this momentous event with heart and humor, and bring some much-needed joy and optimism to our television colleagues and viewers at home,” Burke said in a statement.

The Emmy Awards are normally held at the Microsoft Theater, but Kimmel joked that he doesn’t “know where we will do this or how we will do this” this year. The list of nominees is expected to be announced on July 28th.
