Jodie Foster, Shailene Woodley, and Tahar Rahim have been cast in Prisoner 760.

The three will star alongside previously announced Benedict Cumberbatch in the film based on Mohamedou Ould Slahi’s New York Times best-selling memoir, Guantánamo Diary.

The film follows Rahim (Slahi), who is captured by the US government and languishing in prison without charge or trial. Losing all hope, Slahi finds allies in defense attorney Nancy Hollander (Foster) and her associate Teri Duncan (Woodley). Together, they face countless obstacles in a desperate pursuit of justice. Their controversial advocacy, along with evidence uncovered by the formidable military prosecutor, Lt. Stuart Couch (Cumberbatch), eventually reveals a shocking and far-reaching conspiracy.

Prisoner 760 is directed by Oscar and BAFTA-winning filmmaker Kevin Macdonald from a screenplay by 60 Minutes producer Michael Bronner.
