Joey King in Talks to Star Opposite Brad Pitt in “Bullet Train”

The Kissing Booth star, Joey King, is currently in negotiations to join the cast of Brad Pitt’s Bullet Train.

The action-adventure film is based on Kotaro Isaka’s Japanese novel Maria Beetle and it will be directed by David Leitch from a script by Zak Olkewicz.

Plot details and character descriptions on Bullet Train haven’t been revealed and a date hasn’t been set for production. According to sources, King will play one of four leads opposite Pitt, with King being the only woman in the group.

King rose to fame after starring in Netflix’s 2018 teen romantic comedy franchise The Kissing Booth as Elle Evans, opposite Jacob Elordi and Joel Courtney. The second installment in the franchise debuted on July 26 and a third film will launch in 2021.

In addition to The Kissing Booth, King has also been in Crazy, Stupid, Love, The Dark Knight Rises, The ConjuringWhite House Down, Independence Day: Resurgence, Wish Upon, and Slender Man. King starred in The Act, a true-crime drama series, which she received an Emmy nomination for.
