Guy Ritchie is currently plotting his next movie Fountain of Youth, and its cast is shaping up to be as star-studded as it gets. John Krasinski and Natalie Portman will play lead roles in this high-profile project about two estranged siblings looking for the mythological fountain of youth.

Written by James Vanderbilt and set to be directed by Ritchie, Fountain of Youth centers on two estranged siblings, who must join forces and use their knowledge of history to follow clues on an epic quest for a mythological fountain of youth, that could possibly lead them to immortality.

This project has been developed from the first-look partnership between Apple and Skydance Media, and Vinson Films and Project X Entertainment are also coming on board to produce. Ritchie and Krasinski have both been circling the film since the summer, while Portman agreed to come on board after she had to shift her schedule post-strikes.

Portman most recently appeared in Todd Haynes’ May December alongside Julianne Moore and Charles Melton, and will soon star in the Apple TV+ mini-series Lady in the Lake. Krasinski wrapped up Amazon Prime Video’s action series Jack Ryan last year, and he’s gearing up for the release of his next film IF, which he also wrote and directed.
