John Legend is definitely not one of the ordinary people.

The Good Night singer has joined the illustrious club of EGOT winners — those who have claimed Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Awards — and now he’s joining another cool club. The 39-year-old is set to become one of the 4 coaches on The Voice.

NBC confirmed that John will be replacing actress and singer, Jennifer Hudson, for the spring cycle of the reality competition.

“[John’s] multi-dimensional career and incredible talents provide a repertoire that will excite and inspire our artists. This coaching panel is sure to ignite season 16,” said President of the Alternative and Reality Group at NBC Entertainment, Paul Telegdy.

The father of 2 will join fellow judges Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine, and Blake Shelton, as well as host Carson Daly.

“I’m thrilled to join the coaches of The Voice,” he said. “I’ve been a guest and mentor on the show multiple times and I’m so excited to discover talented singers and help them make the most of their gift. I hope the world is ready for #TeamJL.”

We’re giving you the green light, John!
