The former Saturday Night Live writer is set to return as host.

The late-night comedy is welcoming John Mulaney back, this time as host, again. The 36-year-old writer-comedian has hosted the show before, back in April 2018. According to TVLine Mulaney joins Conan O’Brien and Larry David as the only non-cast member writers that went on to host the show.

The announcement that Mulaney will host SNL on March 2 was made during Saturday’s telecast hosted by Don Cheadle.

Mulaney was part of the show’s writing team for six seasons. His most recent appearance was on Weekend Update alongside Pete Davidson.

He currently voice stars in Netflix’s animated comedy, Big Mouth.
