John Wick: Chapter 3 ā Parabellum is keeping on going strong and has now sold over 3 million times in VOD, electronic sales, and packaged media. Its post-theatrical sales have begun late last month and by now it is the highest-grossing home entertainment release for Lionsgate in 5 years ā since 2014’s The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1.
These kind of sales are impressive considering the fact that the movie has made 170 million dollars domestically, while Lionsgate estimates that the movie’s home release sales are on par with what a movie that made 250 million dollars domestically would do.

Lionsgate is obviously counting on the franchise’s continuing success. John Wick 4 will be released in theaters on May 21, 2021.
