Johnny Depp is drawing inspiration from his own life when it comes to his music.

Over the last couple of years, the actor has been collaborating with British guitarist, Jeff Beck, and even joined the Grammy winner on stage for a number of recent concerts. The pair have recorded an album that is due for release on July 15, entitled 18.

Explaining the title, Beck said, “When Johnny and I started playing together, it really ignited our youthful spirit and creativity. We would joke about how we felt 18 again, so that just became the album title too.”

One of the tracks written by the Pirates of the Caribbean star has reportedly been inspired by the recent court case involving his ex, Amber Heard. Depp won the defamation lawsuit following a 6-week trial, with the Aquaman actress ordered to pay $10 million to her former husband.

The song is believed to be called “Sad Mother’ Parade” and includes the lyrics, ‘You’re sitting there like a dog with a seven-year itch … If I had a dime, it wouldn’t reach your hand.”

Heard has since requested that the judge declare a mistrial, alleging that one of the jurors who served on the jury was not supposed to be there.
