The cast of the Apple TV+ series The Morning Show is as star-studded as it gets and it’s getting better by the day. The Emmy-winning star of Mad Men is joining Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon in the third season of the critically acclaimed drama.

Hamm is set to play Paul Marks, a corporate titan who sets his sights on UBA, pulling Aniston’s Alex, Witherspoon’s Bradley, and Billy Crudup’s Cory into his powerful orbit. The third season of The Morning Show is going into production later this month, with Charlotte Stoudt serving as showrunner.

Hamm most recently starred in summer’s biggest blockbuster Top Gun: Maverick alongside Tom Cruise. We’ll next get to see him play lead roles in the black comedy Corner Office and adaptation of Gregory Mcdonald’s novel Confess, Fletch.

The Morning Show premiered on Apple TV+ in 2019 and quickly grew into one of the streamer’s flagship shows. It offers an inside look at the lives of people creating a morning show program for a fictional UBA network after it’s been shaken up by sexual misconduct scandal. In addition to Aniston, Witherspoon, and Crudup, the cast of the previous seasons also included Mark Duplass, Steve Carell, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Bel Powley, and Julianna Margulies.
