Many amazing actors played notable roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Jon Hamm would like to become one of them. The Emmy-winning Mad Men alum recently revealed that he would love to join the MCU if he was ever approached with an offer.

Hamm recently set down with Screen Rant to discuss his role in the fifth season of the acclaimed anthology series Fargo, and he was asked to share his thoughts about the MCU.

“Those decisions get made at such a high level at this point, definitely above my pay grade. I would love to. I’ve been a fan of Marvel Comics and comics in general since I was probably single digits. I think there are tons of stories that I’m familiar with, that are still out there to be told,” said Hamm.

Hamm singled out The X-Men and Fantastic Four as two of the franchises he’d like to join, mentioning Doctor Doom as one of the characters he could see himself playing.

Even if he doesn’t receive a call from Marvel, Hamm’s schedule will stay pretty packed. Just this year, he starred in the hit series The Morning Show and Fargo, and we’ll soon see him in the musical remake of the 2000s teen classic Mean Girls.
