The forthcoming Little Mermaid live-action film has found its Prince Eric.
Multiple outlets confirm that Jonah Hauer-King has landed the coveted role and is set to star opposite Halle Bailey as Ariel.
First considered for the role was Harry Styles.
Also starring in the film is Melissa McCarthy who will play Ursula, Javier Bardem is King Triton and David Diggs will portray Sebastian.
Directing the live-action remake of the animated classic is Rob Marshall from a script by David Magee. The film will feature songs from the 1989 original as well as new ones from original composer Alan Menken with lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton).
