Josh Duhamel and Greg Kinnear just set their eyes on their next project, and it’s going to be a doozy! This amazing duo will lead the cast of the upcoming action-thriller Off the Grid, which will kick off production under a SAG-AFTRA interim agreement in January.
Duhamel will take on the role of a scientist who decides to go off the grid in Europe after stealing an experiment in an attempt to hide it away out of fear it could be weaponized. Kinnear will play his former research partner, who’s sent in to find him with an extraction team.
Johnny Martin (Hangman) will be in charge of directing this project, while Richard Salvatore will produce it alongside Luca Matrundola.
“After working on this project for years with my good friend, Johnny Martin, I could not be more thrilled and excited to see the level of talent that have signed onto this project. I couldn’t pick a better team to enable the quality of this movie to come to life,” said Salvatore in a statement.
Red Sea Media will launch the world sales for Off the Grid at the upcoming American Film Market before this project officially starts shooting in January under an interim agreement.
