The forthcoming Turner & Hooch revival has cast Josh Peck.
Peck has been tapped to star as the lead in Disney+ forthcoming TV series reboot of the 1989 film.
Peck will star in the series as Scott Turner, who’s described as an ambitious, buttoned-up US Marshall who inherits a big unruly dog, which he soon realizes isn’t the partner he needs.
Tom Hanks played the character in the original movie.
News that the hour-long series based on the comedy film received a formal 12-episode series order was reported in December.
Peck’s TV roles include Grandfathered, The Mindy Project and Fuller House.
