HBO announced this week the cast of the upcoming sci-fi series, the Nevers. The series, ran by Joss Whedon, follows a group of Victorian-era women with some super abilities.

It was already announced in April that the main character, Amalia True will be portrayed by Laura Donnelly. Now she is joined by Olivia Williams who collaborated with Whedon in the past in his last network series Dollhouse. Williams will play Lavinia Bidlow who runs an orphanage where the “touched” (women with special abilities) live.

Another addition to the cast is James Norton who plays a club owner. The rest of the characters in the neighborhood will be played by Tom Riley, Ann Skelly, Ben Chaplin, Pip Torrens, Zackary Momoh, and Amy Manson.

Alongside Whedon, Jane Espenson and Doug Petrie will also serve as writers on the show. Bernie Caulfield will be the series’ executive producers.
