Taika Waititi, one of Hollywood’s most sought-after directors, has teamed with Jude Law on a new television project.
According to multiple outlets, the Jojo Rabbit helmer and The New Pope star will collab on the Showtime limited series titled The Auteur.
Per Deadline, Law will play the title character, while Waititi is attached to direct. Taika will also co-write the show with Peter Warren. Eric Gitter and Dan Halsted will executive produce. The project is reported to be a Hollywood satire based on the One Press graphic novel series by Rick Spears and James Callahan.
Being in development, it is unknown when the show will go into production.
