Julia Louis-Dreyfus already has enough awards to prove she’s the ultimate comedy queen, but she recently added another jewel to her crown. The legendary actress was honored with the coveted Mark Twain Prize for lifetime achievement in comedy.

Some of the performers who worked with the Seinfeld star over the course of her four-decades-long career showed their support during the ceremony that was touching and super-funny at the same time. Previous recipients Stephen Colbert, Jerry Seinfeld, and Tina Fey were guest speakers and shared several hilarious anecdotes about their interactions with this comedy legend. Bryan Cranston, Lisa Kudrow, Kumail Nanjiani and Tony Hale were also in attendance.

Even before winning America’s highest comedy honor, Louis-Dreyfus is one of the most coveted TV performers in history. Her rise to stardom started back in the ‘80s when she joined the cast of Saturday Night Live.

Things just got better from that point on, and the whole world learned her name thanks to the role in Seinfeld. Louis-Dreyfus is currently playing the lead in HBO’s political satire Veep, which helped her score six consecutive Emmy wins for the best actress in a comedy series.
