It’s always a joy to see George Clooney and Julia Roberts join forces on the big screen, and their latest project sees them exploring the rom-com waters. Universal Pictures just gave us a major nostalgia overload with the trailer for the duo’s new movie Ticket to Paradise.

Directed by Ol Parker (Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again), this rom-com centers on a divorced couple, played by Clooney and Roberts. They decide to team up and travel to Bali in an attempt to stop their daughter from marrying a local that she just met and making the same mistake they made 25 years ago.

In addition to Clooney and Roberts, Ticket to Paradise also stars Kaitlyn Dever (Dopesick), Maxime Bouttier (Rewrite), Billie Lourd (American Horror Story), and Lucas Bravo (Emily in Paris). The filming took place in Queensland, Australia, between November 2021 and February 2022. Its premiere date is set for October 21.

Ticket to Paradise marks the latest in the long line of collaborations between Clooney and Roberts, after the success of Ocean’s Eleven, Ocean’s Twelve, and Money Monster. Clooney most recently directed and starred in the 2020 adventure drama The Midnight Sky, while Roberts played Martha Mitchell in the Watergate-themed mini-series Gaslit earlier this year.
