Julia Roberts and Jennifer Aniston are no strangers to leading amazing comedies, and they’ll soon get to do it by each other’s side. They’re set to lead a body swap comedy for Amazon Studios after the streamer won a heated auction for this A-list project.

Not much is known about the film’s premise right now, but the project seems promising so far. Max Barbakow, who rose to prominence with the Sundance smash-hit Palm Springs, will be in charge of writing and directing the film, which is based on his original pitch.

According to Deadline, the bidding war for this project included four other studios and streamers. Aniston’s Echo Films and Robert’s Red Om Films will produce the project, along with Barbakow and Margot Robbie’s production company LuckyChap Entertainment.

This project comes off the heels of the success of Robert’s other two-hander star vehicle—Ticket to Paradise, co-starring George Clooney. It was her first film in four years, but she also led the Watergate thriller series Gaslit, alongside Sean Penn and Dan Stevens.

As for Aniston, we haven’t seen her star in a movie since Netflix’s Murder Mystery in 2019, and she’ll appear in its sequel later this year. She’s also attached to the upcoming third season of the Apple TV+ series The Morning Show.
