Jungkook and Latto gave us one of the buzziest collaborations of the year with “Seven”, and this song just set a major Spotify record. “Seven” became the fastest song in Spotify history to reach the one billion mark, breaking the record held by Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers”.

“Seven” has been breaking records left and right since its release, and Spotify just announced it became the fastest song to reach one billion streams on this platform. It took it 108 days to achieve this coveted number, surpassing Miley Cyrus’ viral hit “Flowers”, which crossed the one billion mark in 112 days.

“Seven” was released back in July, and it easily soared to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, becoming both Jungkook and Latto’s first chart-topping single in the US. It also became the highest-debuting single by a solo Korean act in the UK at No. 3, and went on to break several Spotify records, becoming the most streamed track in one week by a male artist.

“Seven” was released as the lead single from Jungkook’s upcoming album Golden. BTS singer will drop his debut solo album on November 3, and it will also feature collaborations with Jack Harlow, Major Lazer, and DJ Snake.
