Justin Bieber gave us several pretty emotional music videos this year, and he’s continuing that trend with his latest. The touching video for his new single “Holy” is here, and it sees him joining forces with his frequent collaborator Chance the Rapper.

Bieber’s new video was directed by Colin Tilley and it shows him taking on the role of an impoverished oil-rig worker. His life turns upside down after the factory he’s working for shuts down, and he ends up being evicted with his girlfriend, played by the rising star Ryan Destiny.

Bieber described this song as the beginning of a “new era”, but it’s still unclear what he’s referring to. It’s only been a few months since he dropped his latest album Changes, but “Holy” is giving us some major gospel vibes, and we’re yet to see if he’s thinking of taking his music in that direction long-term.

This isn’t Bieber’s first collaberation with Chance the Rapper. Most recently, they were both featured on DJ Khaled’s “No Brainer” with Quavo, which was released in 2018.
