After much speculation and a Twitter frenzy, Kanye West has confirmed his new album Donda drops on Friday.

The news was announced during Game 6 of the NBA Finals within a Beats by Dre ad featuring Sha’Carri Richardson. In the commercial, the track “No Child Left Behind” is previewed as Richardson runs a 100-meter sprint in slow motion, wearing Beats by Dre earbuds. West can be heard singing repeatedly, “He’s done miracles on me.”

It was also announced that the rapper’s listening event in Atlanta on Thursday will be live-streamed globally via Apple Music.

News of the upcoming album comes after West revealed the listening event Monday after Twitter started buzzing Sunday night about another listening session the rapper had in Las Vegas.

West marked the ad by posting it on his Instagram with a set of photos showing his face covered, wearing gold chains around his neck with his kid’s names on them.

Donda is named after West’s late mother and it follows his 2019 Grammy-winning gospel record Jesus Is King. This will be his 10th studio album.
