Kanye West isn’t headlining Coachella this year, but if you think that’ll stop him from performing at this festival – think again. The famous rapper just announced he’ll deliver a special “Sunday Service” session during the musical event.

West was previously supposed to headline this festival alongside Ariana Grande and Childish Gambino. However, the organizers were forced to drop him because his demands proved to be too extravagant – he reportedly asked them to build a custom dome specifically for his performance.

West eventually managed to find common ground with the Coachella bosses and opted for a much more toned-down performance. His “Sunday Service” set will take place on April 21, and will feature gospel versions of his most beloved songs.

Kanye West has been organizing his sessions at his home for a while now, and Coachella announced his involvement by sharing a clip from his latest “Sunday Service”. The rapper took a moment to inform everyone in attendance that he’s heading to Coachella on Easter Sunday with his gospel choir.
