Kanye West’s new album, Donda, was due to be released this week but we will have to wait a little bit longer. The waiting fans had to make do with the album cover, shared by the rapper on Saturday via his Twitter account.

West posted the picture of the album’s art with the caption “DONDA ALBM CVR.” The pictures show three blurred characters, apparently walking in a red-hued sky above clouds and a green landscape with a planet or a moon in the background.

Earlier that day, West also tweeted an apology to his wife Kim Kardashian “for going public with something that was a private matter”.

“To Kim I want to say I know I hurt you. Please forgive me. Thank you for always being there for me,” he wrote.

The Rapper announced the release of his new project last week, saying it will be released on Friday, July 24th. He also posted a picture of the tracklist and said there would be an accompanying movie.

Last month West released the first, and currently the only single from the album. The single is Wash Us In The Blood and it features Travis Scott.
