Kanye West’s long-awaited new album Donda was just released on Sunday and it’s already breaking records.

Donda reached No. 1 on Apple Music’s Top Album chart in 152 countries in just 24 hours. Additionally, 19 songs from the top 20 on Apple Music’s Daily Top 100 Global songs charts are from the album. West and Donda broke the 2021 record for being the most-streamed artist and album in one day and the album became the third most-played album on its first day of release on Apple Music.

Donda even broke the record for the most-streamed album in a day so far in 2021, taking the spot from Olivia Rodrigo.

After the album was released Sunday, West claimed on social media that Universal released the 27-song album without his approval.

“Universal put my album out without my approval,” he posted on Instagram and added that the company “blocked” “Jail, Pt. 2”, the collaborative track that features DaBaby and Marilyn Manson.
