Kanye West officially has nine consecutive No. 1 albums.

West’s latest studio album, Jesus Is King, which dropped on October 25, has hit the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

According to Nielsen Music, the gospel-inspired album sold 264,000 equivalent album units in the US in the first week. Streaming was the majority of that number with the remaining 109,000 in album sales.

West’s nine consecutive peak debuts mean that he is officially tied with Eminem for the most consecutive No. 1’s on the Billboard 200 charts.

West (and Eminem) are still far, however, from the record of most No. 1s on the Billboard 200 of all time. Holding that record are the Beatles with a whopping 19! They are followed by Jay-Z with 14, Bruce Springsteen and Barbra Streisand with 11 each, and Elvis Presley with 10.
