If you’ve ever wished to see Beanie Feldstein, Michaela  Rodriguez, Kat Dennings, Jameela Jamil, and Lolly Adefope star in the same project, we’ve got some great news for you. They’re all set to star in the upcoming anthology series Girls Can’t Shoot (& Other Lies).

Based on the bestselling collection of essays Feminists Don’t Wear Pink (and Other Lies), this series will place heroines at the center of traditionally male genres and storylines. Scarlett Curtis, who curated the original book, is expecting this TV show will give a generation of women the chance to tell their stories, just like its source material.

“It has been my lifelong dream to show that women’s stories can be both entertaining and empowering and I could not have found a more incredible group of women to bring their extraordinary visions to life,” said Curtis in a statement.

Jamil, Dennings, and Adefope all wrote essays for the original collection, and they’re expected to star and write episodes based on them. Feldstein was also one of the authors included, and she’s expected to join forces with Rodriguez to develop an episode in which they will co-star.
