Episodes of Black Mirror have always been as strong as their cast, and the ensemble of Season 6 is shaping up to be fantastic. The cast of the upcoming season has been revealed and it includes Zazie Beetz, Josh Hartnett, Aaron Paul, Kate Mara, and many more.

According to Variety, this casting spans three episodes of the show, and it’s expected more actors will join further episodes. Paapa Essiedu, Danny Ramirez, Clara Rugaard, Auden Thornton, and Anjana Vasan have also been cast in Season 6, but it remains unclear in which episode each of the actors will appear.

Variety also reports that the new season of the series is believed to be in production and that it will feature more episodes than the previous one. Netflix officially renewed the show back in May, but they’ve yet to reveal when it’s going to premiere on this streaming service.

The plotlines of the upcoming episodes are also a mystery, but the creator Charlie Brooker previously suggested that the new season will have a lighter tone.

“At the moment, I don’t know what stomach there would be for stories about societies falling apart, so I’m not working away on one of those. I’m sort of keen to revisit my comic skill set, so I’ve been writing scripts aimed at making myself laugh,” Booker told Radio Times.
