Congratulations are in order for Kate Mara and husband Jamie Bell!
The couple is expecting their first child together, which according to multiple reports in due in about four months.
Page Six was the first the reports the news that the House of Cards alum is expecting. According to the outlet the news began spreading after Mara was overheard telling Mary Poppins star Emily Blunt as they waited in line for the bathroom at the 2019 Golden Globes that she was pregnant.
The two were married in 2017 in a casual wedding at their neighbor’s house.
“We actually got married right across the street from our house,” Jamie told late night host James Corden. “I literally woke up in my own bed and walked across the street, and we had our ceremony.” He added, “When we couldn’t find anything we just asked the woman who owns the house across the street, ‘Do you mind if we do it there?’ And she was like, ‘Yes, that’s amazing.’ So we walked across the street and then when it was done, we spent the night on that property and we crossed the street and came home.”
Bell, best known for Billy Elliot is already a father to son Jack with his ex-wife, Evan Rachel Wood. Mara loves having Jack in her life telling Us, “I come from a really, really big family and I’ve had kids around me my entire life,” she gushed. “Family is everything to me and I like being surrounded by lots of kids and family at all times.”
