Upton announced her pregnancy with a simple, but sweet Instagram post. The 26-year-old model shared a photo of herself posing on a balcony in Florida. Her baby bump was barely showing, but Kate cleared the air by posting vital hashtag #PregnantinMiami. Verlander re-posted the pic a few hours later and wrote a touching message that melted everyone’s heart.
“You’re going to be the most amazing Mom!! I can’t wait to start this new journey with you! You’re the most thoughtful, loving, caring, and strong woman I’ve ever met. I’m so proud that our little one is going to be raised in this world by a woman like you! I love you so much,” said the baseball player in his sweet caption.
The couple started dating in 2014 and tied the knot three years later in a beautiful ceremony in Tuscany. Verlander said he’s been looking forward to that day for a long time, and he probably feels the same way right now. Kate’s pregnancy gave the young couple another important milestone to be excited about.
