Katy Perry has surprised us with several amazing bangers in the last few months, and her latest is her wildest one yet. The music video for “Harleys in Hawaii” is here, and it sees her living her biker-girl fantasy.
The edgy video isn’t extremely plot-driven, but it’s just as visually stunning as some of her previous music videos. Just like the title suggests, it shows Perry going for a ride down a Hawaiian highway, and taking a break to sing karaoke and enjoy the ocean breeze with her lover.
Everything we see on the screen is actually rooted in reality, because the singer came up with the idea for this song while having a similar adventure in Hawaii with her fiancé Orlando Bloom.
“We rented a Harley because we were just there for a few days… You know, be on the back of a motorcycle in Hawaii and just let the airflow on your face. It’s so beautiful. It was awesome!” Perry recalled while discussing her latest track on The Zach Sang Show.
