We wouldn’t mind riding Harleys in Hawaii with Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom.

The “Never Really Over” singer’s latest song, “Harleys in Hawaii” is having a major moment, thanks to a new trend on TikTok that involves users lip-syncing part of the chorus. So much so that the single is currently Katy’s most popular track on Spotify.

So what inspired the song?

A  little vacay with her fiancé back in the day!

The American Idol judge shared a video on Instagram from a trip she took to Oahu with the Lord of the Rings actor that ultimately inspired “Harleys in Hawaii”.

In the clip, Katy is sitting behind Orlando on a motorbike while both wear sunglasses and the wind whips through their hair.

“I can remember specifically where I was—the street corner I was at in Oahu—and turning that corner and whispering to Orlando, going, ‘I’m going to write a song called “Harleys In Hawaii,’” the pop star recalled during an interview in 2019.

We can’t wait to see what their next vacation inspires.
