Keanu Reeves has revealed just how he ended up getting a part in Toy Story 4.
When we found out the icon was starring in the latest Toy Story sequel, we were a little caught off guard. Now, Reeves has revealed that not only was he approached by producers with the role, but he was also allowed to get involved with creatively shaping his character.
“I got a call which was really cool out the blue from the lovely people at Pixar and the creators of this number, this edition, or continuation of the story,” Reeves told Collider. “They pitched the character to me and then we spoke and they allowed me to kind of riff on it.”
We still have no idea what part Reeves has in the movie but we are ready to be surprised and delighted. In the meantime, here’s the teaser for the latest installment of the Pixar classic franchise:
Toy Story 4 will hit cinemas June 21, 2019.
