Kelly Clarkson did an awesome job hosting the Billboard Music Awards in the past two years, and she’s gearing up to do it once again. It’s been announced that she’ll be in charge of hosting this ceremony for the third year in a row.

Clarkson couldn’t wait to share the amazing news with the world, and tell her fans she’ll be in charge of the three-hour telecast, filled with countless exciting musical acts.

“I’m thrilled to be back with my Billboard family. I love being part of an event that celebrates our greatest artists and entertains our fans. This a night of music that you won’t want to miss!” said Clarkson in a statement.

The American Idol winner proved to be the most amazing host the Billboard Music Awards could possibly wish for. She delivered a buzz-worthy opening each time, by performing a medley of some of the year’s biggest hits.

We’re hoping she’ll do the same this year, when the Billboard Music Awards air live from Las Vegas on April 29th. The list of nominees and performers is yet to be announced.
