Kelly Clarkson had a blast hosting Billboard Music Awards last year, and she’s getting ready to take on this responsibility once again. The American Idol winner agreed to take on the hosting duties for the second year in a row.
This year’s ceremony will take place on May 1 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, and will be broadcasted live on NBC. The list of nominees and performers is yet to be unveiled but Clarkson is promising another amazing night.
The Grammy-winning singer said she agreed to host again because she had so much fun last time, and promised they’ll be turning it up a notch this year. The Voice coach added she can’t wait to celebrate all of her fellow artists during another unforgettable night of live music.
Kelly Clarkson has been pretty busy touring in the last few months. Her Meaning of Life tour is still in the full swing, but it’s supposed to wrap up in Greenville on March 30, after 28 amazing shows all across the US.
