Kesha’s new album is less than two months away, and she dropped another single from it. “My Own Dance” is all about embracing the many different sides of yourself, no matter what the world’s telling you to be.

The music video for this uplifting song sees Kesha roaming through a rundown motel on her quest to find a box of magic cereal, and running into all sorts of colorful and bizarre characters before finding her way to a supermarket where things get even weirder.

Kesha previously discussed this record with Rolling Stone and revealed it was inspired by a conversation with her brother who encouraged her to embrace her signature pop sound.

“I kind of felt like I didn’t have the right to be happy and write happy songs… I have to say, that song, and that conversation with my brother, put me on the path of finding probably the most severe happiness I’ve ever had my entire life,” said the singer.

“My Own Dance” will be featured on her upcoming album High Road, set to be released on January 10th, 2020.
