The short-form mobile video platform Quibi has dozens of projects in several stages of production as it builds toward its planned launch date in April 2020, and now Variety reports that one of these projects will be a remake of the classic The Fugitive, which will be led by Kiefer Sutherland.

The 24 and Designated Survivor alum will play Detective Clay Bruce, an investigator from Los Angeles trying to catch a Bombing suspect. The suspect will be portrayed by Boyd Holbrook who played in Narcos and Gone Girl.

The series is a remake of a 1993 movie by the same name that starred Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones as a murder suspect and the US Marshall that is trying to hunt him down. The movie itself is a remake of an ABC’s 1960s show.

Quibi was founded by former Walt Disney Studios chairman Jeffrey Katzenberg and as mentioned it is now in a frenzy of productions that includes names like Steven Spielberg who is making a horror series and Sophie Turner who is starring in a thriller series. They are also working on a remake to MTV’s Punk’d and shows featuring Tyra Banks, Chrissy Teigen, Don Cheadle, and Idris Elba.
