“Killing Eve” Renewed for Season 4

Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer in "Killing Eve"

BBC America announced Friday that it has renewed Killing Eve.

News that the acclaimed assassin drama will continue to a fourth season comes months before season 3 has dropped.

“How could we not have massive confidence in Killing Eve?” said Sarah Barnett, president of AMC Networks Entertainment. “It has won big in every major award show and is the highest-growing show on US television for six years.”

Executive producer Sally Woodward Gentle added, “It is testament to everyone involved that we have been picked up so early — the magnificent actors, writers, directors, and production team.”

The forthcoming third season will see Sandra Oh’s Eve Polastri and Jodie Comer’s Villanelle continue in their deadly waltz. Comer teased of the upcoming action: “It’s that thing of: You believe someone’s dead, then you live with the fact that someone’s dead and then they’re not. How do you come back from that? How does that change your relationship that you once had? Does it? Is there a new opportunity? Is there a chance or is there a need to finish what you did?”

Season 3 of Killing Eve will premiere in the spring.
