“Killing Eve” Sets Season 2 Premiere Date

Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer in "Killing Eve"

BBC America has set an April premiere for the second season of Killing Eve

The network made the announced via social media. A video of Eve (Sandra Oh) running her hands through her hair in slo-mo thought with a voice asks, “Why are you and Villanelle so interested in each other? What really happened in Paris?’ was captioned with, “Have you missed us?”

The critically acclaimed series that follows British MI6 agent Eve Polastri (Oh) in pursuit of psychopath assassin Villanelle (Jodie Comer) will return April 7. Oh and Comer will reprise their roles as the mutually obsessed women alongside new cast members including, Henry Lloyd-Hughes, Shannon Tarbet, Nina Sosanya, Edward Bluemel and Julian Barratt.

Killing Eve is picking up exactly 36 heart-thumping seconds after the events of the season finale,” said Sarah Barnett, President of AMC Entertainment Networks. “This new season is packed with superlative performances and is as twisty, subversive, darkly funny, nerve-wracking and pleasurable as our fans could desire.”
