The first season of Killing Eve already won numerous awards since it premiered last year, and a couple more were just added to the list. The critically acclaimed crime drama won big at this year’s BAFTA TV Awards, scoring a total of three shiny statues.
In addition to winning best drama series award, Killing Eve came out victorious in two acting categories. Jodie Comer defeated her co-star Sandra Oh to be named as best lead actress, while Fiona Shaw won best-supporting actress award.
It was also a big night for Patrick Melrose, miniseries starring Benedict Cumberbatch, which won a total of two awards – best miniseries and best leading actor. Ben Whishaw came out victorious in the best-supporting actor category with his role in A Very English Scandal.
