Kim Cattrall has landed her next television gig.

Cattrall, best known for her role as Samantha on HBO’s Sex and the City, has been cast as the lead in Fox’s Filthy Rich drama pilot.

Cattrall will both star in and produce the Southern family soap from Tate Taylor.

TVLine reports that Cattrall will star as the Monroe family’s “larger than life” matriarch Margaret, whose patriarch — a wealthy CEO of the world’s largest Christian network — dies in a plane crash. After his death, Margaret and her children discover he has illegitimate children who are also in his will. Margaret tries to pay them to go away but the newly discovered and legitimate heirs have other plans, which include becoming part of the family empire.

Taylor will direct the pilot from his own script. He will also executive produce alongside Brian Grazer, John Norris and Francie Calfo.

Cattrall recently starred in the first season of CBS All Access’ horror series Tell Me a Story.
