Kim Kardashian and Kanye West recently welcomed their baby girl Chicago, their third child together. As it turns out, the couple went back and forth before finally deciding on the name for their 3-month-old daughter, who was born via surrogate on January 15, 2018.
Kim recently made an appearance at The Ellen DeGeneres Show and discussed how she and Kanye settled on the name Chicago.

“We were gonna name her Jo, ’cause my Grandma, Mary Jo. Or we were gonna go with Grace — and then it was Chicago,” Kim told Ellen. “We ended up with Chicago.”

The 37-year-old reality star also shared that one of the names in the running was Donda, the name of Kanye’s late mother. “He really wanted his mother’s name, and I love that name too, but I just wasn’t sure,”  she added. “It’s so much to live up to.”
