Another big name has joined the forthcoming live-action film Cruella.

The feature starring Emma Stone as the titular villain has added Kirby Howell-Baptiste to its cast. She joins previously announced Paul Walter Hauser and Joel Fry.

The live-action origins film will be helmed by I, Tonya director Craig Gillespie from a script most recently drafted by Tony McNamara.

The studio remains tight-lipped on details, so all we know is that the origin story for the 101 Dalmatians villain is set in 1970s London and has a “punk rock” vibe.

Details on Howell-Baptiste’s character have yet to be revealed. Her TV credits include roles on Killing Eve, Why Women Kill and The Good Place.

Cruella hits theaters Memorial Day weekend, May 28, 2021.
