If you dream about taking a picture with the Game of Thrones’ Jon Snow and Ygritte, you can forget about it. Actor Kit Harington, who portrays the character of Jon Snow on HBO’s popular show, talked recently with The Guardian and revealed that he always refuses taking photos with the fans when he is with his fiancée Rose Leslie, who portrayed Ygritte in the same show.

“… you just have to, otherwise you start feeling like a mannequin. Especially me and Rose, we never do a photo together.” said Harington. “Because then it makes our relationship feel like…puppets. Like we’re a walking show.”

Harington also said that he doesn’t like taking pictures when he is by himself, and although he mostly accepts, there are times when he refuses. He also added that the first year of the Game of Thrones was most special for him since the actors from the show were not recognized that much.

“Maybe the most special year was the first. We weren’t being recognized on the street, we didn’t know what we were doing, we were having a great time.” – Harington said.

Kit Harington and Rose Leslie began dating in 2012 after they shared scenes in Game of Thrones, and announced their engagements in September 2017. Although they are together for such a long time, Harington doesn’t like to speak to the media about his relationship with Leslie and wants to keep it private.

“I don’t believe in talking about one’s relationship in the press because it’s…I strongly believe it’s her relationship and mine, and anything I say here, she may not want me to say. So I just don’t say it. I genuinely think it’s our private life.” explained Harington.
