Since it premiered in 2001, HBO’s fantasy drama Game of Thrones captivated the attention of viewers all around the world, so it isn’t surprising that its eighth and final season is the most anticipated television event in 2019. Now, while the details about the events of Game of Thrones finale are being kept under wraps, members of the cast occasionally let something slip some info during the interviews.

The most recent cast member who “slipped” about the topic was Kit Harington, who plays the character of Jon Snow on the show. Harington discussed Game of Thrones finale during his appearance at 2018 Toronto International Film Festival and hinted that there will be fans who won’t be too happy with the show’s ending.

“I think a TV series that’s spanned eight, nine years is an incredibly difficult thing to end,” –said Harington, who already finished shooting on Game of Thrones. “I think not everyone’s going to be happy, you know, and you can’t please everyone. My favorite TV shows are Sopranos, Breaking Bad, and The Wire, and they all ended in a way that…It’s never going to satisfy you.”

If we read between the lines, Harington is trying to tell us that lots of our favorite characters will end up dead, something that show has been doing to us since season one. The darker outcome would be that White Walkers end up conquering the Westeros and that all our heroes turn into undead. Unfortunately, we will just have to sit here with all these crazy ideas and wait for HBO to be kind enough an release season eight at some point in 2019.
