Kit Harington had his Saturday Night Live debut this weekend, and many of his friends came over to help.
And when we say “help” , we mean make him answer some strange questions…
It was always expected that Kit, who plays Jon Snow on Game of Thrones, would be urged to disclose some spoilers. But, the 32-year-old confirmed that he was not at liberty to say.
At that point, an audience member — who looked suspiciously like co-star, Emilia Clarke — asked if he could at least give a sense as to how the series ends.
“Wait a second, Emilia, you’re in the show, you know already…” Kit began, before she responded by saying, “Yeah, but I forgot. It’s just been so damn long since the last season. Plus a lot of my scenes are talking to a dragon which is just a tennis ball on a green pole…”
Someone else who was confused about how it all ends for his character was John Bradley who plays Samwell Tarly.
“They only let me see two pages of the script,” he explained.
But perhaps the most pressing question was from Kit’s wife and former co-star, Rose Leslie.
“What are we gonna do for money now? You kept telling me ‘I’m king of the north, we can order Uber Eats whenever we want…”
Let’s hope Kit at least knows more than Jon Snow…
