Rian Johnson turned the mystery genre on its head with his hit movie Knives Out, and its follow-up was a long time coming. The critically acclaimed director finally confirmed that the highly-anticipated sequel is coming our way this holiday season and shared the official title with the world.

Johnson took to social media to confirm that Benoit Blanc’s next case will be called Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery and explained how he came up with this cryptic title.

“When I made Knives Out, that’s what excited me about the prospect of making more mysteries with Daniel as Benoit Blanc – to emulate Christie and have every film be like a whole new book, with its own tone, ambition, reason for being… and (ta dah) title,” wrote Johnson on Twitter.

Not much is known about the plot of the upcoming movie, but it will see Daniel Craig’s detective extraordinaire Benoit Blanc travel to Greece to peel back the layers of a mystery involving a new cast of colorful suspects. In addition to Craig, Glass Onion will also star Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Jessica Henwick, Madelyn Cline, Kate Hudson, and Dave Bautista.

The third Knives Out movie is also in the works, and Netflix reportedly cashed out $450 million for two sequels.
