Kristen Stewart has said that she is “so happy” for Pattison and his new Batman role.
The actress co-starred with Pattison in the Twilight franchise. As well as co-starring together, the pair were in a relationship for a short while. They were the subject of many cover stories and when the couple broke up, the tabloids stirred things up further.
Now though, it seems that the pair have put the past behind them. When Stewart found out that her former co-star and ex-boyfriend had landed the role of Batman, she expressed nothing but joy for him.
Speaking with Variety at the Toronto International Film Festival, Stewart said that she feels Pattison is the right man for the part. “I feel like he’s the only guy that could play that part,” she said. “I’m so happy for him. It’s crazy. I’m very, very happy about that. I heard that and I was like, ‘Oh man!’ It’s awesome.”
